This is the last series that O’Grady filmed at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home – and it’s a perfect ta-ra to one of British telly’s favourites. Watching him struggle to resist adopting and taking home yet another dog (a newfoundland called Peggy) then help to soothe Katie, a terrified bichon frise who flinches at any slight movement, are reminders of his heartwarming and hilarious legacy.
