Kostiantyn Kryvopust explores the French NFT revolution

France seems to be at the forefront of the NFT revolution. Thanks to one of NFT’s biggest brands, Paris-headquartered Sorare, the global art hub is now set to host an NFT art exhibition.

The famous modern art museum,  the Center Pompidou  , is going to put on a show for the NFT with its latest permanent exhibition. This summer, the museum will feature a collection of unique digital tokens created by 13 talented artists from around the world.

NFTs include the highly sought after CryptoPunk #110 and Autoglyph #25. In addition, the collection will be a testament to artistry and innovation in the world of blockchain and digital creativity.

In  a tweet  , the museum said it is buying a set of works that explore the relationship between blockchain and artistic expression, including its first NFTs. 18 projects by 13 French and international artists will be presented at the exhibition.

Xavier Rey, director of the French National Museum of Modern Art, highlighted the museum’s commitment to digital art and blockchain technology, calling web3 an “innovative territory” for artists to explore new means of expression.

Yuga Labs Donations

Yuga Labs, the company behind such popular NFT projects as Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks, has also contributed to the growing acceptance of NFT in the art world. They donated CryptoPunk #305 to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami during Art Basel 2022.

Yuga Labs has announced its intention to donate more punks to leading art institutions around the world in the future, and this latest exhibition at the arts center is a key one for both Yuga Labs and the exhibition.

Yuga Labs co-founder Greg Solano sees this as an important moment for the NFT ecosystem and web3, as it will pave the way for a wider understanding and appreciation of digital art and its impact on modern society.

Paris is leading the NFT revolution

Paris has long been known as the center of world art, and this exhibition will help spread NFT to the general public. But France is leading the NFT revolution not only in art.

One of the biggest NFT brands, Sorare , is based in France and they are the leaders in NFT cards for sports and betting.

The company has signed contracts with all the leading sports brands in the US, including the NBA, MLB and MLS. In addition, they have also signed agreements with all the top European football leagues to represent them in the NFT space.

Sorare NFT cards allow you to collect fantasy football teams from all over Europe, including La Liga and the English Premier League. Players can stake their NFTs to play against other players and strengthen or weaken their cards depending on the results.

Conclusion

France is historically known for leading revolutions, and the NFT space seems to be its next target.

From world-renowned museums displaying NFTs to playing fantasy football cards with rare NFTs, all of this helps bring NFTs to the general public.
