GOAL! Wales 1-0 Armenia (James, 10)
Oh that is lovely! The ball comes across and James taps home a one-touch finish! The home crowd are going crazy.
GOAL! Malta 0-1 England (Apap OG, 8)
England have their opener but the scorer is Malta’s Ferdinando Apap! Read more here:
7 min Andorra 0-1 Switzerland: We have another goal and this time it is Remo Freuler putting his team ahead!
7 min Greece 0-0 Ireland: Bazunu has been forced to make an incredible save already! A shot came in and the goalkeeper jumped and tipped the effort over the bar, a great save. The corner is eventually dealt with by the visitors.
5 min Wales 0-0 Armenia: Wales have had a few chances but the team haven’t been clinical enough to convert yet.
3 min Gibraltar 0-1 France: I take you across the continent now as we have a goal early doors in the France game! Olivier Giroud has put his team ahead just three minutes in, it could be a long evening for Gibraltar.
1 min Greece 0-0 Ireland: In the Ireland game they have had an early corner, Greece do enough to repel the chance but a great start from the visitors.
The first action tonight comes from Jeff over email, who says: “You need air conditioning.” I would love some but I live in a listed, rented flat in Bath so it isn’t possible. I hope you’re keeping cool though!

Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill told Viaplay: “We are a little bit young in certain areas but we have everything to gain from tonight’s game. There is a little bit of unknown about our team [Price and Hume getting their first starts] but they have shown up really well. I am excited to see what we get tonight. We have to make the game difficult for them, we have to create a bit of anxiety in their team. We also have to go and play. “
David Brooks is gearing up for his first Wales appearance since being diagnosed with cancer. But he has made it clear he doesn’t want to be handed anything for sympathy. “Even before talks had kicked [on his new Bournemouth contract] in I wanted to make it clear I wasn’t there for sympathy,” he says. “It’s the same with Wales. I don’t just want to be called up to be a spare part. I’m working hard to get back in the Bournemouth XI and to be starting for Wales as well. I don’t want anyone thinking we’ll give him a game here, or a game there, because he’s been through a lot and it will mean a lot to him. I want it to be on merit and I believe that’s why I got two starts at the end of the year. I also believe that’s why I am here now.” Read the full piece:
