Saturday clockwatch …

There’s a bumper afternoon of Premier League action ahoy, with no fewer than six three o’clock kick-offs scheduled ahead of this evening’s potential humdinger between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

Aston Villa and Brighton got the weekend’s top flight activities under way in today’s lunchtime game at Villa Park, where the ruthless home side lead 3-0 at half-time courtesy of a brace scored by Ollie Watkins inside 20 minutes, followed by a Pervis Estupinan own goal.
